BMIL utilizes market leading engines for OCR, OMR and ICR for recognition of machine print, handprint, check boxes, barcodes, logo recognition, etc. This tool can be used to automatically index documents using data that is already printed on the physical documents, extract data to ERP tools, sort, classify and separate documents, etc. Recognition can be restricted to specified zones or can be used for full document search. Manual indexing can be done automatically utilizing our recognition component using various types of data already available on the physical document or manually by personal when automatic recognition is not an option.
Search and retrieval of documents is done using a simple and effective web-based component, various document search criteria can be used inclusively or exclusively using Boolean expressions. Indexes and storage sets are available for search queries as well as free search or full document search using data acquired via OCR. Searches can be defined and stored for future use the retrieved documents can be viewed individually or can be exported using the bulk export utility bulk.
