Brithol Michcoma’s security printing unit is specialized in the creation and production of security documents, namely, bank cheques for several countries, including, Mozambique, Angola, Tanzania, Cape Verde and Zambia. Currently our yearly production is at 30 million cheques per year.
The team is made of highly specialized technicians and uses specialized security software to create security documents. On another hand, the printing unit is equipped with the most moderns printing equipment from Heidelberg – german origin – using to a most modern plate production system Computer to Plate – CPT- through files generated in PDF format, namely PDF – Workflow.
In Mozambique, the security printing unit, produces all security documents for the DNM (Migration Department), such as: passports (diplomatic, service and ordinary), visas (entry, border and work visas), among others.
In its expansion process to countries outside of Mozambique, Brithol Michcoma prints security documents for the SME (Migration Department in Angola), such as: visas and border passes.
Still for Angola, our printing unit prints security documents such as vehicle registration documents for the DNVT (Traffic Department of Angola) and the military ID, military document, certificates and others for the FAA (Angolan Armed Forces).
